On Saturday November 12th the team went to Camp Dodge to participate in teambuilding activities, try MREs, and learn about the Iowa Army National Guard. The team engaged in activities such as the six person ski walk, tug o’ war, building activities, and more. Team team was also given two new team banners as a gift from the Iowa Army National Guard. The Southeast Polk Boys Swim Team would like to thank Sargeant First Class Marc Brown and Staff Sargeant Garrett Deyong for allowing our team this opportunity. As a thank you, the team will be hosting a Hero’s Night Meet Thursday January 5th at 5:30 PM to honor our men and women who serve or previously served. More information on this event to come.
